When I talk to folks about Canada being broken, this is the type of damage of which I speak.

We have an international body making policy that is co-opted by a Provincial Government, policy that is implemented as if it were law, thereby creating a series of pseudo sub-Governments whose goals are at times antithetical to the goals of the Provincial Government and the people, all the while trying to interact in good faith with the Federal Government.

This is no way to run a Country.

The BC economy is already sunk. The latest court ruling only makes it even worse. BC is finished, unless a massive reset occurs very quickly.

Thank-you for this very helpful background. Sounds to me like the B.C. plane needs a new pilot; tried to pull up too quickly and now all lift is gone.

Mr. Moyse - thanks for this contribution. Given your background, and the importance of the issue, I would also like to hear your conclusions on the following points: 1) the effect of the Feb 20 Musqueam Rights Recognition Agreement (MRRA), concluded between the federal government and the Musqueam, and in principle, pertaining to the "Musqueam Territory" as defined in the MRRA, and claimed in Musqueam's assertions of title going back to 1976, through 1993 through the BCTC process, to today; 2) whether the the MRRA sets in train a process that could impact title to land, not previously relinquished, currently held by the federal government, within the area described as the "Musqueam Territory", including the CMHC lands on a good portion of Seymour Mountain, on the North Shore; 3) since your knowledge of past political positions on these matters may extend farther back in time than most, I wonder what view you hold of the position taken by the Campbell government, concerning the esireability and necessity of referenda in which all citizens participate and have a voice, concerning treaties with First Nations.
